I took the day off to stop by NCAL for a photo-op with the pet food I won in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Fur-Tography contest I won with a picture of Franki.

I was given a tour of the facility by Beth White while we waited for the Pet Food Warehouse delivery. After the tour and while still waiting for the food to show up, Beth showed me a precious little girl who was dropped off as a "stray". I snapped the picture below and and emailed it to Joanie. If i remember correctly, her response was, "Ahhhhhhh! She's so cute!!"

The food showed up and Beth, with Mollie, most of the staff, with other cats and puppies and I stood behind the pallet of food for pictures. I brought an 8X10 of Franki and placed it on the food.

The following Saturday, Joanie and I stopped by NCAL so she could see Mollie for herself. We filled out the forms for adoption so we would be ready to adopt.
Trevor stopped by to visit Mollie on his way to work on Aug. 6th. After his visit, he sent a text that read, "Let's get her."

I stopped by NCAL to let Beth know that we decided to adopt Mollie. I finalized the adoption paper work and Beth suggested I take Mollie home until she picked her up after work to keep her for the weekend while we were in Maine. After much arm-twisting I relented and Trevor and I spent a couple of hours with her before Beth stopped by. Fortunately Joanie got home just as Beth was getting ready to leave.

3 hour hike around Moss Glens Falls
Joanie packed a lunch and she, Mollie and I hiked to Moss Glens Falls and strolled along and in the river above it. Mollie was quite hesitant about getting in the ankle deep water at first but became a little more comfortable with it before we left. Afterwards we stopped by the Mt View Snack Bar for a creemee. Tired little Mollie was dead to the world on the ride home!
